One of the most common things I hear is ” I need to lose X- Amount of pounds by X amount of time”. If your not Wrestling,MMA,Boxing or competing in a sport that requires you to lose weight by a certain time why are you putting a time frame on it?
I hear.. I’m going on Vacay, want to look good for this,or in this. Ok I understand that but what about the rest of your life? When you take that pressure of ” I need to lose (X) amount of pounds in 2 months” off yourself and take it 1 day at a time , then it will be easier.
Yes having a before and after picture is cool .. And having people comment and say nice things is great.. But it’s about doing this for LIFE! Some trainers might pressure you so they portfolio looks great with a bunch of weight loss pictures but if they aren’t pushing you to make life long changes then you wasting your time .
Longevity is the word of the day.. You will have successes, you will have failures, you will lose weight, and have periods where you gain some back.. Just know that your in this for the long haul , dust yourself off, get up and keep swinging!!
